netTrekker in PA for 2009-2010
Hello Pennsylvania Educator:
Due to recent changes within the Bureau of Educational Technology and budget decisions resulting from those changes, the Pennsylvania Department of Education has decided not to pursue the 5th year statewide renewal of the netTrekker subscription. Effective June 30, 2009 the current subscription will end and access to netTrekker will no longer be available. In order to ensure/re-gain access to netTrekker, every district across the Commonwealth must now purchase netTrekker individually.

New netTrekker Subscriptions
We're dedicated to doing whatever we can to make the transition from a statewide access model to a district-wide access model as smooth as possible.
A few important notes for you to read through and share across your district:
It is possible for your existing netTrekker username (and the associated My Portfolio folders and resources) to be transferred over to your new school/district subscription.
Process to move your login:
- Browse to: http://school.nettrekker.com/changeOrganization?np=/changeOrganization.ftl.
- Enter the existing username and registration code for the NEW location. Click submit and the user and Portfolio contents will be moved to the NEW location. Your registration code can be provided to you by your netTrekker subscription Administrator.
If you do not require the transfer of your existing username/Portfolio resources, your new subscription will allow you to create a different username as soon as your school/district activates. This means that you can save and share resources to your new My Portfolio area as you always have!
