Methods of Access

There are many methods to access netTrekker. Please review the following options to implement one or many of the access methods. Click for more details.

IP Authentication

This is the easiest method of access by way of your network's Internet Protocol (IP) address. Accessing netTrekker through IP authentication promotes usage by eliminating the need to login with a username and password. Check with your school or district's network administrator to determine if IP access is available for your specific network IP configuration. Saving Search Results and some of the My Portfolio features are not accessible with IP authentication. Students must login with their username to save searches and manage resources in My Portfolio. Teachers must login with their username to save searches and manage resources in My Portfolio, and share resources to the School and/or District Portfolio.

To request netTrekker to activate IP authentication for your school or district, you must provide netTrekker with your static public IP address(es) with our online IP Verification Form.
